Our class 4 sterilization pouches meet ANSI/AAMI ST:42 1998 standards for steam sterilization and sterility assurance using table-top sterilizers in office based, ambulatory care, medical, surgical and dental facilities.

Chemical indicator arrows are printed on each pouch and change color during sterilization to visually verify pouches have been processed. These indicators are process indicators and should be used in conjunction with routine biological indicators (spore tests) to verify sterilization has actually taken place.  Be sure not to overload sterilizer and allow enough dry time so pouches are "visibly dry" before removing from the sterilizer.

For loading carefully place items into pouches and remove excess air before sealing. Where possible, use a pouch rack to stand pouches on edge in the sterilizer to facilitate sterilization and drying. When loading multiple pouches, be sure that the plastic side faces the paper side of each pouch.

Shelf life when properly sealed sterility is maintained indefinetly unless pouches become wet, damaged or opened during storage. Recommended storage for all sterilization supplies is cool, dry place 15-30 degrees celcius and 40-70% relative humidity.
Please note 2.75" x 9" measurement is the outside of the pouch.  Inside measurements are 2" x 7.75".
