** PLEASE NOTE ** The M14-0500 Sims Uterine Sound is made from copper wire which is then silver plated. Due to oxidization the colour will change. The instrument can be cleaned by using SILVO paste and rubbing it with a soft cloth.
They can be sterilized either by gas or by cold sterilization. Sterilizing silver plated instruments in heat or steam will cause them to rust.
