ValueTest TrueLine 5 Class 5 Steam Chemical Integrators give your practice instant, in-pack verification that sterilization conditions were met — right where steam penetration is hardest to achieve. Designed for gravity and pre-vacuum steam sterilizers, each integrator responds to all three critical parameters of steam sterilization: time, temperature, and steam.

How It Works

Each integrator contains a temperature- and steam-sensitive chemical pellet sealed in a paper/film/foil laminate. During the cycle, the pellet melts and migrates along a paper wick as a dark front, visible through a clearly marked window:

• ACCEPT — the color bar entered the ACCEPT zone: all critical steam sterilization parameters were met
• REJECT — the bar remained in the REJECT zone: reprocess the pack and investigate the cycle

No interpretation charts, no guesswork — a clear pass/fail read in seconds.

Directions for Use

1. Place an integrator inside each pack or pouch in the area least accessible to steam. For large packs, use multiple integrators at several locations.
2. Run the load per your established sterilization procedure.
3. After the cycle, confirm the color bar has migrated into the ACCEPT zone before releasing instruments.

Storage

Store unopened/resealed packages at room temperature (15–30°C), 35–60% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight and strong alkaline or acidic products (e.g., cleaning and disinfecting agents).

Not for use with dry heat, ethylene oxide, or other low-temperature sterilization processes.
